Today I am happy to show you this super cute high-waisted striped skirt from Shein ♥
It is just perfect for Japanese-inspired street fashion, and this style of skirt is really trending right now.

This skirt is so cute! It features an above-knee cut, which is great for those who don't like their skirts too short. It also has an elastic band on the back half of the waist band, giving it some stretch around the waist line.
With it's pleated a-line silhouette and black stripes, this skirt is a simple yet fashionable item for Spring and Summer.
This skirt is an affordable seifuku-inspired piece for those who appreciate Japanese fashion styles, and can work very well for darker kawaii outfits.
This skirt is made from material of cotton blends, so it is light-weight and comfortable to wear. There was no faults with this skirt as far as I could tell, it appears really good quality and I think it will be very durable.
This skirt is also one-size only, and I believe it would best suit sizes XS-M, so it is true to the one-size sizing. As I mentioned before, there is an elastic band at the back half of the waistline, so putting it on and taking it off is easy. The thing I like about having only half the waist band to be elastic is it allows the skirt to be more fitting to your waistline.

Today I went for a more casual look, and paired this skirt with this awesome t-shirt and black thigh-high socks. I also wore a choker I recently reviewed. This outfit, although casual, is stylish enough and is perfect for a day out with friends or for going shopping ♥
